Best Buy pays trade-in as an eGift Card — never cash. The Best Buy numbers in this table come straight from Best Buy’s own online trade-in estimator (checked October 2026), priced at base storage in good condition — bigger storage can price higher in their estimator, and it is still a gift card, not cash in hand. Our cash range is 10–30% below Apple’s maximum; your phone’s exact cash value is always decided in the store after the detailed QC check, based on its condition and unlock status.
